Ashé News
As of June 2008, I am no longer offering private massage and
bodywork sessions. The new goal of Ashé is to provide wellness
education and empowerment through yoga and writing. I will continue to
offer private yoga sessions.

Ashé (“Ah-shay”) is the life-force that
pervades all things. It is a word used in both Tibet and Africa (Yoruba)
and refers to personal power and unconditional confidence.
If our life-force is strong and moving freely we are happier, more
creative and are able to participate fully in the world. If the life force
is weak or out of balance, we are more susceptible to stress, life seems
difficult, and we become ill easily.
Ashé is often said as an invocation, with enthusiasm, in a celebratory
way: Ashé!
